Amber Wine Festival 2022

October 21st and 22nd
Castle of San Giusto – Trieste

More than 50 producers from 4 countries and only one wine: the Amber.
From the Karst to the Collio, from Istria to Austria, you will find an area where Amber wines have left their historical roots. Trieste, as its center, hosts its excellence.

Alongside chosen wine producers, at the Festival, we carefully selected culinary specialties to accompany the wines as an expression of the food and enological richness of the area, reinterpreted for the occasion by established chefs.

That and much more await you on October 21st and 22nd in the beautiful Castle of San Giusto, within the historic locations of the former Bottega del Vino and Bastions Lalio and Fiorito, with an enchanting view of the Gulf of Trieste.

A splendid occasion for a food and wine experience, not to be missed.

The tasting pass includes:

  • unlimited tasting of all wines at the exposition
  • wine glass and bag – yours to keep
  • tasting chart
  • Tasting of food and specialties of local producers

Tickets are in the PRESALE – for one or both days.

Come and visit us at the Amber Wine Festival.

*due to the limited number of visitors and to speed up the entrance to the Festival, we advise buying the tasting pass in presales.

Call it Amber

Amber wines are natural white wines produced using traditional procedures, through prolonged maceration, that lasts at least 36 hours.

Prolonged contact with grape skins imbues the wine with tannins and beautiful deep amber color, a recognizable sign for this kind of wine production.

The sensory perception of Amber wines is complex and rich, tannic and fruity.

At the Amber wine festival, we use the most stringent criteria for wine producer admittance, which starts at the vineyard and continues to the wine cellar.

We strive to give our visitors the utmost experience of white wines with prolonged maceration, tasting only the pinnacle producers and true Amber wines.
